I'm Ursula, a professional photographer
specialising in portraits. I feel incredibly fortunate to work with such amazing clients and share their stories with pictures.
I've been taking portraits for nearly 30 years and reside on the beautiful Isle of Arran. Every day offers a new opportunity to capture the beauty around me, whether it's a stunning sunrise on the beach or a candid shot of my beloved collie dog, Billy-Beau.
After completing my degree in photography at Nottingham Trent University in 1997, I began shooting portraits and weddings for friends and family to build my portfolio. In 2000, I launched my own business, which went on to win numerous awards.
In March 2021, I followed my heart and moved to Arran with my partner Jim (who makes beautiful videos) and our two children, Sonny and Poppy.
Though the journey has been challenging, the reward has been much greater and I couldn't be happier with where my life and business have taken me.
And now I get to work in this magical place and call it my home. If you have chosen to holiday, live or marry here, I know that you know just how special Arran is too.

We worked with Ursula in Lamlash to complete a family photo shoot. Ten adults and ten kids (1-15 years old). She was fabulous, really engaging and professional.
